“My recent trip to San Pedro offered a glimpse into the hearts, homes and lives of sponsored children and their families; leaving me wanting to know and do more. Each day offered a new day of discovery…coffee fields, volcanoes, markets, churches, mountain hikes, family, and school visits.”
We will be organizing a trip in December 2026, specifically during the week of December 7. Our focus will be on celebrating our students' graduation and participating in the Bi-Annual Bare Necessities Food Distribution. Throughout this journey, we will be engaging with students, working on various projects, and visiting both sponsored and unsponsored students while immersing ourselves in Guatemalan culture. This mission trip presents a fulfilling opportunity to forge connections and gain valuable insights into the lives of the students. Whether you're a returning participant or joining us for the first time, this experience is sure to leave a lasting impact and provide a chance to make a difference.
The cost is $150 per person per day, which includes lodging, transportation within the country, daily meals, and group activities. For families with two or more members, the rate is $130 per person per day. Each participant is responsible for their airfare; however, please contact Mayme Hofland BEFORE booking your flight, as there are important arrival and departure details to keep in mind.
